The NERC Digital Solutions Hub is developing a gateway to a broad set of interconnected tools that enable improved access and better use of the Natural Environment Research Council’s many peta-bytes of environmental data.
The SRSG provides the project with high-level RSE consultancy, advising on aspects of agile development process adoption, training, technical strategy and also conducts software sustainability evaluations to assess and recommend improvements to developed software outputs.
Providing easier access to NERC’s environmental data offers opportunities to improve people’s health and better understand the impacts of climate change on people, land and property across the UK.
